Ask your MP to call for an end to Mr Öcalan's imprisonment
For over 25 years, Kurdish political prisoner and thinker Abdullah Öcalan has been incarcerated under aggravated conditions of isolation amounting to torture in the prison island of Imrali in Turkey.
Many communities, activists, politicians and academics have called on Mr Öcalan's release as a gateway to a lasting and peaceful solution to the Kurdish issue in the Middle East.
Write to your MP now to demand the UK pressures Turkey, the Council of Europe and the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT), to end isolation and release Mr Öcalan as part of efforts to foster peace and stability in the region.
